I have used hydroquinonine for dark spots for a LONG time and just learned that the FDA is going to stop it's sale. Does anyone know why and how I can get 3% hydroquinonine online or elsewhere?
Why is using hydroquinnonine being banned as a skin lightening product by the FDA?

Reply:Birth defects. Its being banned because women who used it often had severe life threatening birth defects in their new borne children. Do you really want to use it after knowing that?
Reply:i mthough u wanted to know why FDA stopping the use of hydroquinnonine? if that is : it is becos when u use it to lighten ur skin. it does more harm than good. it clears away de upper skin and allow de sun to go into ur skin easily.
Reply:You should be very careful with fading creams (most contain hydroquinnonine) that are sold without a prescription because some (many) can cause cancer in the long run. There are some pretty scary storied coming out of the UK about those types of creams.
When the FDA puts it's foot down and says no...there's a good reason: aka: lawsuits from victims of products that are known to cause cancer.
