Clearing/lightening my skin?

Ok, i just came back from a dermatologist appointment, and there is nothing they can prescribe me to make my skin lighter, which i think is a lie, is there any natural way i can get healthy lighter glowing skin? Is there any over the counter or good creams you can buy at a store, that works very welll?

You should probably get a cream with hydroquinone in it. It's what makes your skin stop making pigment.





The ones with too much of it are only available on prescription, but there's some with little of it that you could get over the counter.





If you don't have the time to look for a cream with that ingredient, you could just go to CVS or any drugstore and tell the drugstore man/woman "I need something to be less tan and I don't have a prescription" and they'll say something like "facial creams, isle five"





Most of this over the counter creams have give-away names like "nivea's whitening cream" and stuff. They shouldn't be difficult to find.





Your dermatologist DID lie to you and if you have can afford it, I would suggest going to another one, a professional, who will be more concerned with your interest than with his/her own.





hmm. This is the third time this question pops up. Maybe tanning is not such a good idea after all =P

Reply:drink 1 gallon a bleach daily for 3 weeks, that should lighten your skin. lol

BTW Dove face cream doesn't lighten the skin it just gives the illusion of lighter skin because it has huge amounts of titanium dioxide which goes on like a white mask over the skin.

What u want to do is visit a filipino store or an asian store near you.


Filipinos like to be white, instead of tanning salons, they have whitening salons!





So anyways


when u go to the store ask for some


SKIN WHITE


or maybe eskinol skin white


There is also whitening soap called


KISSA





these things will gradually lighten ur skin..


there is also this other soap where it comes in 2 bars...first u soap ur body with the first one and like wait X min and than u rinse and put the second...i dont kno the name..my aunt gave me sum but i didnt use it





i like my skin tan =) altho i do wonder what i woul look like white..

Lemon juice and dont go outside too much.

Reply:Look whatever you do, don't ligten your skin.All these so called "lightening creams" have steroidsin them and while they may make you lighter for the first few days, you will go even darker than before and have light skinned patches all over your face. Steroidal creams and sunlight do not mix, believe me you will end up regretting it more than you know, I've seen to many people fall for these so called creams-they don't work.
