LiGHTENiNG MY SKiN?

Hey, I was wondering if there were any ways to lighten my skin. I am of mixed ethnicity (Native American, Black, and Caucasian). My Dad (Black and Native American) is a little on the darker side, while my sister and my Mother(Caucasian, Black, Native American)/her entire side of the family have extremely light skin tones. I was wondering if there was a way to go from, say, Ashanti's color (like me) to Aaliyah's color (the rest of my family)??

LiGHTENiNG MY SKiN?
That's odd. I thought Ashanti and Aaliyah were basically the same complexion. Bleaching is known to be very unhealthy because the creams contain mercury and other dangerous ingredients that may cause cancer. Think about those things and then decide if you want to go through with this insane idea.
Reply:ummm... NO ... thats just gay... i mean you could try bleach but then you will just look like micheal jackson LMAO
Reply:hey!!!

if u go to the african-american section of nearly any drug store(ex. longs or riteaid), they usually sell skin lightening creams=D

also, try out sunblock when you go out=D

take care!!!

xao!!!=D
Reply:I wish you would keep your skin tone!! Females love a guy with any 'ethnic' look or color.

If you want to switch it up though, try Palmer's Skin Success. That product line has gentle bleaching agents mainly to even out uneven skintone. If used DAILY for MONTHS it does eventually lighten your skin. You can find it at most drugstores (CVS, Walgreens) and the 'fade cream' retails at WalMart for cheap.
Reply:Honey why would you want to be light? you know you always want what you can't have cause I have always wanted to be darker but I'll tell you this............. lady's love the chocolate......I love me some choclate........ the darker the better.............dont' do it baby you are who you are for a reason and your better off to accept your self and be your self! much love sugar.
Reply:Who cares if you're darker than the rest of your family? You should accept yourself the way you are. I would kill to have such an amazing mix of ethnicities! It makes you you.
Reply:Get an INSIDE job. Stay out of the sun. Only problem is your turn YELLOWISH. Other then that, chemical treatments like ol MJ and we ALL know how that turned out.
Reply:It sounds like you are trying to bleach your entire face rather than just even out your skin tone... which doesn't sound sensible at all. You take after your dad and take on his skin tone-- color is beautiful and should be embraced as such.

You shouldn't be envious of your lighter toned relatives or think you are less attractive because of your deeper skin, which from what i'm reading isn't even that dark to begin with.
Reply:I think you should be glad with what you have.....sounds like a beautiful skin tone....unless your skin has blotches or is discolored ....I don't see any use of any kind of skin lightener to use on your face.....I understand you feel you want to be closer in complexion to your sister and mother....but that is what makes you "Unique"....besides alot of biracial families come in different shades.....Don't go to the extreme of making yourself look different.....I liked Micheal Jackson when he was (like the off the wall album).....after that it seem to go down hill....now look at him.....creepy ....I can remember taking some kids to the library and they had a picture of him up on the wall of when he was a kid.....when the kids asked me who that was and I told them....their responce was...that can't be Michael Jackson he is white.......take care and I hope it all works out for you..........
