Lighter Skin?

I am Filipina and i have a Filipina skin. For those who doesnt know then go look it up. =]





But my skin is kinda brown and i want it to be lighter. I am NOT a racist [ just clearing that up coz people react a lot when i say i want my skin lighter ]. It is just something i want for myself.





I barely go out and if i do i wear sunblock with spf 40. I try so hard but i dont think im getting any lighter. I heard theres this medicine called glutathion [ or whatever its spelled ] that helps lighten the skin.





I was just wondering if there are better skin lightening products or if glutathion works. Maybe theres like a chinese medicine somewhere out there that could help or whatso ever.. Im desperate =]

i've always been open to say that people who either want their skin lightened or tanned have the same objectives but different goals.. for reasons of improving one's self confidence, a job requirement, or correcting skin problems, tanning or lightening have the same end results.. that's why criticizing either one (those who want fair skin gets more punched) is wrong.. each of us has his/her own needs and wants..

Reply:a skin peel can help. And also the sun damage(i know you use spf) is contriuting to the brown. With any type of peel for sun spots it will also llighten. THere is laser lightening to which is quite pricey. Best bet- use highlighting makeup on the inner corners of your eyes.
Reply:YOur a filipina too! Wow. Choose me as best answer please. I dont know why you want to become lighter. Girls envy my skin color. JUst put it this way. You are naturally tan. You dont want to look like a white pale ghost. That's gross. Learn to like yourself the way you are.
