Lip-lightening product - a suggestion, please?

I'm a make-up junkie and I'm afraid the use of several different products have caused a few changes on my lips. Is there a specific brand of cosmetics, or a method, or procedure you can suggest to help lighten my lips?

I don't think that skin-lightening products are safe for this area. I've exfoliated. I really have.

And SPF isn't enough.

I'm looking for something that will improve the state of my lips and keep improving them, and I don't think I'll be stopping the use of lipstick/ lipgloss/ lip liner/ lip balms anytime soon.

They say the average woman would have eaten (not put on, but eaten, not deliberately but all the retouching and stuff...) about 9 lbs. of lipstick in her lifetime. I'm afraid I've gotten past my first two lbs and my lips have darkened because of the mixture of brands I've used.

And if you have non-orthodox ideas I'd love to hear them, too.

Some enlightment would be highly appreciated. Cheers

if your lips are permanately colored from lipsticks of your color choice and you're considering tattooing your lips with a permanate color of your choice what is the problem really? Sounds pretty nice having color to your lips. And if you don't plan on stopping the use of lipstick anyway who's gonna see your bare lipstick stained lips. And if someone did they wouldn't think anything of it because they would assume you were wearing lipstick. You say you are worried about all of the lipstick you have eaten why not try not wearing any lipstick since it's not needed with your lipstick stained lips anyway.
Reply:hey
Reply:First off, no they won't permainatly stain your lips, second the only area that will change from makeup is your upper eyelids from eye shadow and aging, it's normal. Second for lip lightening it you have on a SPF lipstick or balm of sort will help from sunburn, you can sunburn your lips, you will know when this happens from the stinigng and cracked lips.
Reply:The only way I know of lips darkening is from smoking (weed or cigs). It may not be permanent help but try applying concealor and your foundation over your lips and then you can start with a fresh look when applying make-up
Reply:Light Pink Sheer gloss works wonders! and its natural looking. Loreal or covergirl has great ones to choose from
