Skin lighten upto 3 shades?!?

My legs are really pale but my arms are not and so is not my face. i would really like to make my arms and face as pale white as my legs. Is there any good ways? like lemon , sunscreen everyday and does eating good amount of fruits help in anyway?

The only thing you can do is stay out of the sun as much as possible. Don't use 'lightening creams' such as Fair %26amp; Lovely because they contain carcinogens and can be harmful to your skin. Lemons have a bleaching effect that may help. Sandalwood paste and multani matti masks(it's a kind of clay that you can find in most Indian stores) are both good for evening out your skin tone.





If you don't notice any results after a month, you could try consulting your dermatologist, as your darker face could be the result of a condition known as hyperpigmentation.





However, note that the above recommendations may only make your skin a shade or two lighter and usually take many applications (at least once a week) to get results. It would actually be a lot easier to just tan your legs.
Reply:I absolutely agree that whitening your skin is no worse than tanning... In fact, I think tanning is actually worse than lightening your skin, because it is much more harmful for your body. Tanning beds are one of the leading causes of cancer in America- which I think is ridiculous. Who purposely exposes themselves to something deadly in order to be tan? People think I don't understand, because I am naturally tan- but it isn't really as glamorous as it sounds. It's just skin, really.





Unfortunately, there aren't many fast working methods to whiten skin. You will have to give it time, and allow your tan to fade. (Your upper body naturally gets more sun exposure, so it tans more than the lower body.) If you were born really white, your skin has the ability to go back to it's original color over time, as long as it is protected from the sun. Wear sunscreen that is at least SPF 30 everyday, and make sure that you get a face moisturizer with a minimum of spf 15. If you wear make-up, you can find foundation with sunscreen in it, and you can even use a light shade to make you appear whiter and even your tone out. Cover up if you can when you know you will be out in direct sunlight. It is better to spend time outdoors either before 10 in the morning, or after 4 at night. The sun is less damaging during these hours, and you wont tan as much. Other than that, just keep a healthy diet. There are no foods that will really whiten your skin, but it will give it all the vitamins and hydration it needs to stay healthy and beautiful. Good luck : )
