I want to lighten my skin I have a severe area of darkness on certain areas of my body. and it has affected me

I have tried hydroquinone and that doesnt work. I went to one dermatologist and she said that it would be almost impossible to lighten it cause it looks like "your skin just wants to be this way". another person in beverly hills said he could do it with lasers but to save my money and try topical skin lighteners. Im really depressed right now. and what is worst is that these are intimate areas. I dont wear any type of midriffs or swimsuits. it looks like a disaster cause it is no where near the same color of my body. If michael jackson, diana ross, rick james and many others can do it. I want to do it too. Im not trying to be white but trying to even my skin out. please do not send me copy and pasted links about hydroquinone. I need real answers. and please no rude or sarcastic comments. thanks

You shouldnt use celebritites as guides on this subject ESPECIALLY M. Jackson because he looks a hot mess. I wish you had mentioned where these dark areas are. My chest is sooo much lighter than my face and I could care less. My boss is a dark skinned woman whose face is also obviously darker than her chest and she has gone with bleaching her FACE and she looks a hot mess. She looks like she is wearing a mask because the lightness is ridiculous. She sometimes looks like a walking corpse because it just does NOT look right. I advise you to try other subtle options and listen to your dermatologist to get what you want (IF it works and not make you look like a fool) I wish you luck. In my case I would rather darken my chest to match my face...but not even that is an option for me because Im not bothered by it. Good luck to you though!
Reply:ambi works....you purchase the cream and the soap..the soap contains vasoline..you use both together daily and you will see results..the ambi cream for dry skin works faster..when using the soap let it lather on your body and leave it on there all day.i used the soap to bleach my hands and arms..but you must use it daily and avoid the sun.....it worked for me..i used the ambi only on my face..but i used the soap to lighten wide areas.....

You can get the complete set on ebay for about $400. Thing is, you'll want to consult your dermatologist while using the mask. Most folks have the mask done by their doc. It's supposedly very effective for port-wine stains and sunspots.
